Grief and loss


I'm dedicated to working with individuals coping with bereavement and grief in its many forms.  



If you're wondering how to face tomorrow without your loved one, I want to hear about those tomorrows and the yesterdays too. If you feel like you can't do this on your own, I know you're doing the best you can- and you're right. 


My grieving clients experience closure through writing letters to their loved ones who have died. This letter writing is effective for all forms of loss. Reading the letters aloud is very healing as it encourages acceptance, and permits moving on to build a life filled with love and laughter. 




As a masters level social worker and psychotherapist, I've dealt with grief first hand from the loss of my grandmother at a very young age, my uncle, and countless others who were near and dear to my heart. I have also worked closely with hospice patients and their families for a number of years allowing me to work first hand with those who were on their way to leave this world.
